Fellow Officers of the Club,

On behalf of the Presidential Election Committee, I am happy to announce the election of Major General Walt Dortch as the new Club President.

With 68 votes cast, Walt received 43 of them and General David Mallory received 25.

I'm sure I echo the sentiments of many in thanking them both for their willingness to run and for a great campaigning segment of the process. Either way we'd end up with a great President!

I'd finally like to thank General Ernie Sands for his steadfast leadership & service at the helm of the club for the past number of years!

Forward now into a new chapter and a new year!

Please join me in Congratulating & Welcoming President Dortch!

Congratulations to both Candidates for running and their active participation in our gaming Club!

Walt, you wanted it and now you got it! I congratulate you on your election to President especially for having been a member for a relative short period of time! It just goes to show that any new member can aspires to any position within this ACW Gaming Club!

General Ludwig <salute>

I thank you for your congratulations. As I thank those who voted for me.

During our campaign, General Mallory expressed his views about this Club and its future and I look forward to working with him to achieve the goals we share.

I will restate now what I did at the beginning, which is I will work to do what is necessary to sustain this Club and to increase its membership. Said in short sentence: Recruit and “tune up” the administration of the ACWGC.

My “day one” priorities are to get a proposal for establishing a new Recruitment Officer position before Club Members on the Forum before the week is out. Secondly, to schedule the elections of the CSA CoA now held by General Ludwig and the Cabinet Secretary seat previously held by John Dragan. Third, to send out a survey to all members by email and a posting on the MDT requesting they submit what they believe are the top 5 priorities the Cabinet should take on in 2021.

In the meantime, game on!
