Gentlemen and sirs,

Please join me in welcoming our 10th cadet to walk through the doors of the Union Military Academy this year, Logrus Pattern. He started with hex and counter wargames as a kid with games like Squad Leader, but then encountered John Tiller's work first with East Front. He later got more involved with JTS American Civil War games after challenging a buddy, who is a civil war buff, to a PBEM game. He had so much fun with it that he wanted to play more matches than his friend could afford time-wise, and applied to join our club. In Logrus’ words, “PBEM combines the forgotten joy of finding a letter from a friend in the mail with the challenge of going head-to-head against a human opponent. It's pretty great.”

Please drop by for a round on me to celebrate our newest ACWGC member, Cadet Logrus Pattern! <Salute>
