Gentlemen,

On behalf of the Confederate Chief of the Armies, Gen. D.W. Mallory, I am honored to announce the awarding's of five Pierre Beauregard Medals.

The Pierre Beauregard Medal is awarded to any Confederate officer accumulating 25 battle victories in the Department of Records. For each 25 victories they earn they are awarded a Pierre Beauregard Medal in honor of the accomplishment.

After comprehensive changes in the CSA Awards system we are now catching up on missed awards over the past year or so. We will continue to distribute these awards each week until we have duly honored each deserving Confederate officer for their achievements.

This week we award the following Pierre Beauregard Medals to:


James Whitehead (1st Beauregard Medal)

Neil Thomas (1st Beauregard Medal)

Rich Walker (1st Beauregard Medal)
