Gentlemen!

It is my pleasure to announce the Cabinet’s unanimous approval of the promotion of UA CoA Major General Jim Boling to Lieutenant General.

Jim

-has been a wargamer for over 50 years and graduated from cardboard (Avalon Hill, SPI, GDW, etc) to PBEM when he retired from the U.S. Army;

-joined the ACWGC in 2017 and is a seasoned “virtual campaigner;”

-has served as Divisional and AotP Army Commander; and,

- has served as UA General-in-Chief since May 2021. He has led the most comprehensive restructuring and implementation of administrative changes for the UA since the Club's inception in 1997.

The ACWGC is fortunate indeed to have an Officer of his talent and energy serving as the UA CoA and I to consider him a life- long friend. He is seen below in “the day.”
