G'day All,
I've recently had to reformat my computer and have descovered that I've lost some backup disks when moving. Can anyone tell me where I can get hold of the patches for Gettysburg and Antietem for Extreme fog of War etc. If there is no longer a site about could someone e-mail me with them?
My e-mail is chrispa@bmail.com.au
I have not joined a side yet. I suspect being 12 hours out of sinc. with most members may cause some problems.
Thanks for your patience.
Regards,
Chris Papalia. "Paps"<font face="Arial"></font id="Arial">

Chris,

Welcome to the club, your time difference shouldn't be a problem here.

Check out http://www.acwgc.org/acwco/patches.asp for all the patches that you need to play the BG Games.

The sites listed here are always available. These are the sites to download the BG patches and the 32 bit upgrades for the BG games:

G'day Ernie and Rob,

Thanks for that. I've got it sorted now.
Once I've got my time sorted out I see about organising a match against someone so I can get smashed.

Mr. Papalia,

Unless you are only interested if very fast turn-around (say, multiple files per day) the time differential should pose no problem. The larger battles can easily take more than an hour for a turn. My turn-around is normally better for those opponents on the other side of the world than for those in my own time zone: I get home from work and can take my turn while my opponent is sleeping, then when he's ready my file is waiting. (For those who share my time zone, the drawback is that we are both waiting at the same time!)

Choose a side -- either the good guys in gray (defending hearth and home against the pilfering horde from the north), or 'the other side' -- and complete a quick training scenario. You'll then be assigned to an army and authorized to take on as many opponents as you are able (and, if you're like most of us, to take on many MORE opponents than you are able [:(]!).

Your humble servant,

G'day Dee Dubya,

Thanks for that and I'll get sorted soon.
I posted some comments in in the smoking room and managed to ruffle some feathers already so I'd better get into gaming so some gentlemen can exact honour etc.
Using the colourful prose of the era could be a problem.
Maybe I'll have to dip into my Banjo Patterson, although I think he was writing about twenty years later.

Regards,
Paps.
