Post subject: No brave yankees left?
PostPosted: Sun Jul 01, 2007 12:10 pm
Hello all,

Due to a sudden, and unexpected turn of events, I have an opening for an enterprising yank to fill. Don't worry fellas one need only look at my record to realize an easy victory is just a few turns away. [:)] Now, I do get lucky every now and then so you'll need to exercise some caution otherwise its a cakewalk. [:D]

I haven't played Vicksburg yet so that would be my first choice but I'm open to other venues as well. Rules are negotiable but I like to play in phases when possible (not set in stone though as I have games going with opportunity fire too). I have no preference whether the game is a single on or a campaign and I can usually return two files per day on average. If interested please reply to mconradsmith <AT> charter <DOT> net or to this thread as you prefer.

I can only assume the fellers in union blue shudder in trepidation at the prospect of facing the grey clad hordes under the Bonnie Blue flag. Its certainly understandable fear would cloud the yankee mind given the occasion. Still, it would seem at least one yankee devoid of fear, or robbed of his senses, would rise up from their tattered ranks in defense of their supposed noble cause? [:p]Then again, perhaps they're infused with the same spirit as the lion of oz fame? [:D]

Alas! A yankee that ain't running fer the hills soaked in the shame of his fear! You're to be commended sir as the rest of your countrymen apparently didn't receive a ration of Wheaties in their mess kits or where born without sufficient manly testosterone or even medium sized testicles. [:p] Its a testament to you sense of honor and fortitude you haven't succumbed to such weak ways. A courier has been sent to your hq as requested. I hope the rest of the "boys" in blue will see your example and cast aside their fearful ways in favor of the fulfilling ways of manhood. [:D]

Today's post was brought to you by the phrase; quando omni flunkus, mortati! Or, when all else fails, play dead. And, by the color yellow. [:p]
