Gentlemen,
Our Rebel cavalry must have gotten overzealous and took down one too many telegraph lines. (Heaven knows the YANKEE cavalry can't reach that high without falling off their horses [:D] !)
I was checking my email last night (from my wife's machine -- mine is still down) and I had an interesting thing happen. I logged on and saw I had six new messages. I read the oldest one first, then when I tried to read the next one my connection dropped for some reason. When I logged back on, none of the six new messages were there, and they haven't showed up since. If I hadn't actually READ the oldest one -- and knew it wasn't one I had read before -- I wouldn't have even known anything was missing.
This is from a Yahoo account. Anyone have this sort of thing happen to them?
Oh, and by the way, if you sent me anything in the last 24 hours you may want to resend it, just in case.
Your humble servant,
Gen 'Dee Dubya' Mallory
