Gentlemen,

One of our bright stars in the Army of the Mississippi has suffered a serious heart attack this week (second in six months). We ask for your prayers for Lt. Colonel Grant Davey and his family at this time. My Chief Engineer was in contact with his family who said he would be absent from the Club for an indefinate time.

I played my first ACW PBEM games against Grant way back in 1998, before I joined this club. I wish him a speedy and full recovery.
