ATTENTION TO PARADE!It is my very personal pleasure to recognize the timely contributions and exemplary conduct of the greater Union Army Command Staff and selected officers for their participations in both the on-going Command Staff Conference and the Union Army Awards Committee for the first half of this year, 2011. With unhesitating enthusiasm and prompt response they have continually and honestly given of their time in the many far-ranging and specific discussions undertaken, giving experienced advises and thoughtful questions to the issues presented. I have observed from them what can only be described as an abiding concern for the welfare of the Union Army and the greater ACWGC. While of a minor nature of recognition, and as some of them may be receiving the awards for a second time, it is entirely appropriate that they be so decorated on a very fundamental level.
I am accordingly awarding the Union Army Good Conduct and Honorable Service Medals to the following officers:
Generals Jeff Laub, Mark Nelms, Ernie Sands, Ned Simms, Matt Perrenod, Dirk Gross, Phil Roubaud, Russel Hodgkiss, Frank Mullins, Chuck Jensen, Dave Danner, Antony Barlow and Ken Miller and Lieutenant Generals Dan Peterjohn and Drex Ringbloom.The various officers responsible will see to it that these awards are added to the appropriate web page displays.
