Gentlemen,
Following my command of the French army's at the battles of Quatre Bras and Ligny
https://wargameds.com/blogs/news/quatre-bras-aar
https://wargameds.com/blogs/news/ligny- ... ion-report

, now I would like to try my hand at commanding the Allied army in the combined scenario of Quatre Bras and Ligny.
I am seeking an opponent of Major rank or higher to take command of the French army in Scenario 021: QB_Ligny v3.

In this scenario, the French are reinforced by d’Erlon’s Corps with 15% probability of arrival, further enhancing their quality advantage over their Allied army. A minor counterbalance is the slim (5%) chance that Bülow’s IV Korps may arrive to introduce an element of minor Allied hope and uncertainty to the scenario.

My usual set of optional rules and house rules:

These are mostly default rules, with a few additions:
• Night Movement Fatigue – for obvious realism.
• Movement Threat Disorder – to simulate the chaos of war, where no order to advance against the enemy could be carried out with absolute certainty.
• No Melee Eliminations – to avoid the gamey exploit of ZOC kills that can wipe out entire brigades within 15 minutes.
• Skirmishers Push OR – enabled.

Two simple house rules:
1. No positioning of unlimbered artillery in obstructed terrain hexes (unless a pike runs through it).
2. No simultaneous melee against the same hex by cavalry and infantry.

Looking for a reasonable turnaround of around 4-5 turns a week or more.

PS
Will consider writing an AAR for this battle, so I’m looking for a committed opponent willing to see it through to a natural conclusion or right to the end.

I'm interested in this challenge. I will commit to 4-5 turns per week and promise not to give up halfway. :frenchvive:
