Looking for an Allied Officer to play ooh1 Historical Six Days using Historcal Rules ie
A) All NEW moves and manoeuvers may be started only after getting the order from Commander, and with presence of a leader (Brigade Leader opens move of his Brigade, Division Leader - of his Division etc. etc., the leader must be with a leading unit herewith);
B) No unit stacks on the road march;
C) Cavalry Regiment may moves along ways only by Squadrons, and by Sqns and Divisions
(2 sqns) elsewhere;
D)no more than 8 guns in one hex (1Battery + 1Btn./or 1Sqn. in Column is possible);
E) no more than two Btns (till 1,100 men) or two Sqns (till 200 horses) in one hex;
F) no more than 300m (3 hexes) between a Skirmish chain and the parent Brigade in
the open fields;
G) no Infantry units in Line order in Village/Town, Forest/Orchard hexes;
H) only Light Artillery (till 6pdr.) may be positioned in Village/Town hexes, and only in the village/town edge hexes, or in road hexes inside the village/town;
I)Infantry may attack with fire on ANY Cavalry only from the maximal range first, if the cavalry unit persist and do not leave their position then Infantry may attack
from the minimal range;
J) Infantry/or Cavalry may encircle an enemy unit only with coming on their flanks first, if the enemy unit do not retire then the infantry/cavalry may encircle them completely;
K) disordered unit may attack/advance only with a leader;
L)Infantry/or Artillery may not shot across their skirmishers are in front of the infantry/or artillery unit;
M)Once a unit (except Guards) has lost 50% of their strength, it can no longer engage in
offensive actions.

Roy,

I know the rules of Vladimir Repnin and I was using it in a several battles.
And I want discuss "E" and "M" rules:

The rule "E" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Two Sqns (till 200 horses) in one hex.

Prussian Sqns - 160-220 men (1 Sqns in one hex = 160-220 men).
French Sqns - 145-185 men (1 Sqns in one hex = 145-185 men).
Russian Sqns - 75-95 men (2 Sqns in one hex = 150-190 men).

1. Prussian can't use large Sqns (220).
2. At the beginning of the battle a french cavalry can't win a allied cavalry.
3. The number of cavalry charge is 5. Hence a cavalry attack to an infantry don't profitably.

I propose:
1. Change the number of cavalry charge as 7.
2. The number of cavalry in one hex till 250 men (At the beginning it's 2-3 prussian divisions or 3-4 french divisions or 4-5 russian divisions). No limit for the number of Sqns.
3. Till 4 units in one hex.

For it:
1. Save #00h_1_Six_Days.scn as #00h_1_Six_Days_var.scn.
2. Change 9th line as "Six_Days_var.pdt" in the #00h_1_Six_Days_var.scn.
3. Save Six_Days.pdt as Six_Days_var.pdt.
4. In Six_Days_var.pdt change 6th line as 1250 75 5 4 2 1 25:
---- 1250 ------- till 1250 men of infantry in one hex.
---- 75 ---------- 1250 / 75 = till 16 guns in one hex or 8 guns and 625 infantry or 8 guns
and 125 cavalry and so on.
---- 5 ----------- 1250 / 5 = till 250 men of cavalry in one hex.
---- 4 ----------- till 4 units in the one hex.
And 3rd line from end as "7" - the number of cavalry charge.

The rule "M" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Once a unit (except Guards) has lost 50% of their strength, it can no longer engage in.

I think that this rule is true for one-day battle only.
