Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

There was some time since my last game and now I'm looking for willing Allied gentleman interested in middle or long sized game.
Got HPS Wagram, Waterloo and NRC games (NRC is still my favorite). Can do 3 or 4 turns per week. Prefer some rules but details will be discussed with opponent when I do find one.
Come on gent’s, as mentioned before this is my first game after 2 years, and some easy points could be earned.

What house rules would you want to play with?

I am not much for MOE rules or Embedded Melee but do like to play with a few such as skirmishers staying within 8 hexes of their parent brigade. Independent skirmishers may do as they like.

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

I agree that Embedded Melee rule usually turns out to be a problem in most of the games. But still, I dislike game tactics which are not responding to the beginning of 18th century.
How about 'Manual defensive fire' on?

I am not a blitz player. You would enjoy playing me from that aspect.

And the MDF ON takes too long to play.
