I have multiple copies of the Campaign Eckmuhl "cpe.exe" game on the same PC (the regular HPS game and all the Cobexlaw mods using the v1.01 cpe.exe). The problem is when I change the any of the optional rules for one game with the "cpe.exe" file, it changes the optional rules on all the other games/mods using the "cpe.exe". [V]

Is there a way that I can prevent this so when I change the optional rules for one "cpe.exe" mod, it does not change the optional rules for all the other "cpe.exe" mods.

Thanks.

When I have MODS setup, I copy the MAIN (original v1.01) game folders to a new name, such as ECKMUHL_MOD2 and ECKMUHL_MOD3. (I also have a ECKMUHL_LATEST, with the most up-to-date version) Then I apply the MODS to those new game folders. In addition, I set those new folders up with a NEW shortcut for my desktop. So, I might have ECKMUHL, ECKMUHL_MOD2 and ECKMUHL_MOD3 icons on the desktop.

Another thing is that once a scenario has started there is NO WAY to alter the OPTIONAL rules. It just cannot happen. In addition, there is NO WAY that altering/changing one of the CPE.EXE can have any effect on another completely different setup.

So, I don't understand how you see these changes happening.

In addition to all that, WHO ARE YOU? Are you a club member?

If so, it is customary to have a signature that identifies the army you belong to.
