I want to add a repeating graphic down the left and right sides of a web page..

how do I do it ?

Rich, why not front page? I am trying to redo my army HQ in the ACWGC and I was told front page would be best in most cases.

I agree with Rich. FP uses non w3c standards. The best for web is Adobe (brrrr) Dreamweaver. It creates good code (FP don't). Microsoft software is not good for profi works.

John, you can do it via divs and CSS or you must to use backgrounds in cells' tables.

I agree, except it's Macromedia Dreamweaver. Adobe is responsible for Go Live.

divs can help to organize web site structure. Each element web site can be defined by 'div' tag and customized (i.e. color, backgroud, border etc.) If don't know CSS try using tables and define background image for each cell - tables are much easier.

Ok, all of that sounded Greek to me[?] Is there a site I can use to get me where I can create something better than front page?

I guess I'm a bit on the old fashioned side, but I prefer to just write HTML code myself...that way if something doesn't work I know exactly what it is, rather than having to guess what the program did.

You can use a plain text editor to write code with or you can use a program that helps by color coding different elements, etc. Then you upload your files with an FTP program.
