After some good suggestions from y'all and debate in cabinet..... the following proposal is made:

Start Date

Awarding of this bonus is not retroactive to campaigns already
played. The awarding of this bonus will start for a campaign
started from Feb 1, 2007 forward.

Scoring

Major/Minor Victory level = 7 OBD points
Draw = 5 OBD points
Major/minor Loss = 3 OBD points

There will be no VP's awarded

Claiming the points for a campaign

This helps those that deal with end game form record keeping.

Each game in a campaign still requires a separate start and end game form which must include a comment that says something like:

Game x of Waterloo campaign ( or some such... )

The end game form for the last game in a campaign must contain the game id's for the previous games in that campaign.

Medals

While there is no club wide Medal ( as yet ) for campaigns, each army is free to develop and award a medal.

Please feel free to comment.....

John - there are campaigns which do originate with the Campaign Front End (as you may remember from Jena testing) which only have ONE scenario.

EC, Waterloo and Jena all have campaigns that feature only one BIG scenario.

Food for thought.[;)]

Yes, here is an example of a single scenario campaign:

Does every HPS game have a all in one battle that can be accessed from the campaign front end?

You mean you can play an entire Campaign under PBEM mode against different opponents at each stage?

How cool is that, boy I feel like I am discovering my fingers all over again with these HPS titles.

I think you misunterstood the John's message.
You have a bonus if you decide to play a campaign (not a single battle) against an other officer.

Gentlemen,

My mistake so a campaign is fought against one single opponent, as you can tell I have not used that feature of the HPS titles just yet.

I will certainly look forward to giving it a whirl.

:)
