Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

I went up to check on the status of the Gunpowder Wars game on the Matrix Forum (Frank Hunter, etc) but the forum was missing. Does this mean that the game has been cancelled? Or did I just miss seeing the forum? Or has it moved to another company?

I think they went back to the drawing board.

Per my recollection. They announced on the forum some time back, that they would be integrating ideas, maybe not all, in the design for the improved Horse and Musket engine. Gunpowder Wars seems to be no more at this point.

I am very sorry to hear that they folded the concept of a new Napoleonic series. The idea looked promising. I can only think that in this day of independent programmers its very hard to put across a new design without some backing. Alot of guys are doing this on their own time. I dont know if Frank was paid up front to put this one together but the market is very precarious for this sort of period.

I am hoping to see how the other design turns out by Jean-Marie.

I think they switched over to the Horse & Musket platform.
