I need four guys for a new game project I am working on. Dont have much for it right now but could use your help early in the New Year.

Playtesters for my current project are up to their eyebrows in aligators as we say here in the 'States. Thus while some of them are overlapping into both works I need some new helpers.

Qualifications: have to be able to read English decently. Must be able to play two games at once to completion. Must be committed for the long haul as much as possible. Must have a great love for the period and be a decent player, meaning you understand the game system very well. Must be discrete. Prefer folks in the US but not mandatory (its a postal cost issue).

Am also going to advertise up on the Game Squad board for Solo playtesters.

Hi Bill,

I am interested in playtesting for you, either head-to-head or solo.

I have been fascinated by games about the Napoleonic period since I bought a copy of AH Waterloo in 1969. Subsequently I became entranced by Wellington's Victory and the System 7 game system, as ways of playing Napoleonic miniatures in a reduced playing area. thn en in 1998 I was in heaven for a while when I stumbled on BGW, only to realize that the AI was completely incompetent. I continued to play solo from time-to-time as a way of enjoyning the game system, until stumbling on NWC in September.

My NWC games are not recorded yet, but I have a run of success against a few junior Allied officers since I joined, with 5 major victories so far in 5 games completed.

I am also half-way through a Teugn-Heusen scenario with General Naujoks. At turn 8 I have pushed the Austrians completely off the plateau, and expect to at least hold on for the minor victory as I still have several fresh battalions available to blunt the Austrian counter-attack.

From my previous life as a database applications developer I am a manual reader who quickly becomes a power user of the software products I learn.

I do live in Canada, unfortunately, and have a tendency towards being a combat accountant. The latter would cost you slightly increased postage if you bring me onboard, while the pressure of a deadline should be sufficient to control the latter.

Bill, I'll help you out if you still need someone. Been playing these games for quite a while now and I've been doing some playtesting for Matrix.

I don't know if it is to late, but I would love to help. I live in the U.S. and have play tested on several Civil War games.
