A Merry Christmas to you too Sir. Its been over 10 years for me as well (7/98) and I too have had many good times here. Glad to see the activity is still there in our hobby, as I certainly enjoy it and hope to for many years to come.

I don't know how long I have been in this or any club, except the CCC. I would guess more than 8 years, here, but I really never kept track.

Pierre and several of us started it up. We wanted a club that would allow us to play the TS/BG series in a club setting but non-ladder (many of us not liking ladders). It was alot of fun getting things off the ground. Always glad to see folks that are still with us from the beginning. You must have been in right near the beginning Tony. Hadnt thought of the amount of years until Ernie brought up the CCC. We got off the ground a year or so after the ACWGC but slightly before the CCC.

Its been a good club and I hope that we see many more years in our history.

Who else is still around from the beginning? I know Pierre is still around. How about Steve Peluso or others?

Seeing your name Stuart reminds me ... you were with me in the old NWC Navy! Sure enjoyed those games (except for the problems with sync).

November/ 1998 for me.

I can still remember my training game with Todd Davis (then I Corp's ADN CO) it was King of the Hill, NIR. I had joined the club after wiping up the floor against the AI several times.

It wasn't pretty, but very educational. Even when my Russian reinforcements arrived late in the scenario he was waiting to pounce.

Training games with Tomasz and Paco ended similarily, but all very enjoyable

I remember awesome contests against the legendary Gil O'Campo and Karl Schneider, two stallwarts of the old Russian army.

It is fun to reminice.

Maréchal John Mitchell
Grande Duc de Rivoli et Comte de Bordeaux
Commandant Division Infanterie; La Veille Garde
105e Regiment d' Infantrie Ligne,
2e Brigade, 1er Division Infanterie,
I Corp, AdN
