I am playing the Napoleonic HPS games for some time now. I must admit I mostly play the Eckmuhl game the most. Eckmuhl has some nice small to medium battles which doesn't take much to finish. Also I still like these big 1000 men battalions blasting away the French at point blank range. French players probably like the Jena Auerstedt game which has very challenging scenario's for the Allies.

What's favourite game ?

This current game we are working on Marco! [:D]

Have to admit I am taking a big liking to it!

Awaiting your move sir! [:p]

Ok, my favorites that we have out in order:

Jena
NRC
Eckmuhl
Wagram
Waterloo - and its only because I am not found of the Anglo-Allied army - like the Prussians!

This is a hard one for me to answer. For example, NRC has so many distinct battles that I still have not played them all. The campaign is interesting (won once, lost once). Also, there are so many different kinds of battles-retreats, set piece, meeting engagements, large, small, medium, huge. But I hate the movement pdt and the Russian Army organization for some reason drives me nuts, maybe cause the French never give me time to deploy properly. So, NRC is my least favorite. But, not by much.

With the HPS Civil War, there are some clear favorites for me (Corinth, Peninsula, Gettysburg, Shiloh, Antietam) and ones I barely play (Vicksburg, Franklin). But here, it is a matter of degrees of liking, because I keep revisiting all of them. I got bored with Wagram fairly quickly and put it away. But a year later I really got into it.

Anyhow, here goes my list

Eckmuhl,(best Campaign, lots of variety)

Waterloo, (cause its Waterloo! and both side can win, and I love the British and Prussian armies in 1815)

Jena, (best pdt, real challenge as Prussians, just now getting into second campaign battle)

Wagram, (some nice set piece battles and lots of replay for the Campaign)

NRC (still playing this one)
