Yes, but I doubt that Code Napoleon could have lasted past Napoleon's death even had he controlled Europe throughout his life. Just too many factors to contemplate.

His successor certainly couldn't have held the Empire ...

But if they had does that mean that the Tour de France bike race would have gone all the way to Poland ... [:p]

Merde! Never! [}:)]

They were all volunteers fighting to save L'Revelution and its principles! [:)]

Following with elan the Greatest Captain the World has ever seen [^].

The Marshals were all promoted on merit and were turned only by parasitic spies holding their families to ransom! [:(!]
The troops failed by the REMFs at the gates of Moscaow and again in 1814! [:(!]

16-18 June 1815 Napoleon was very ill and only traitors snatched victory from the jaws of defeat for the allies!! [:0]

OH! How the victors do re-write history [:D]

Napoleon's vanity was his downfall....millions of Frenchmen died to make him famous....he wrote his own book and styled it how he wanted and that is how is remembered... [B)][:0][:D]

I have left the swamps of South Texas (thank you FEMA)[:D] for the deep swamps and gator farms of East Texas now living 25miles from Uncertain Tx. Y’all come on down and we eat some swampdaddies this spring.[8D]

Believe me Cliff, if I ever decide to torture myself and go to East Texas [:D] I will look you up!

I am about as thrilled about going to East Texas as I am the Sonora Desert!

But you sound like a great guy and if I am ever thinking of submitting myself to some extreme humidity I will email you right away! [:p]

Monsieur I guess that was the reason most of them Northern Frenchmen got kicked out of Canada. Nobody in their right mind would want to live where a black cloud wouldn’t be rain but bugs and those bugs are hungry. Yes sir you got to have some real thick skin to live in these here parts! My flocks got kicked out of that southern Ile on the other side of the Gulf. Now I know that somebody will say what’s does this have to do with old Nap well think on it just a min?
