Resize the picture in an image editor and then repost it to the internet.

Off course being from the Anglo allied army your coat of arms is unlikely to work at all, you really need an over inflated French title like mine.

The dutch army should really be grouped with the French I feel. After all it was only 1815 when they joined the shopkeepers. [:D] and I do forget what happened in that campaign.

Maybe they could be French for 2/3 of the time and the rest with the Brits?

Permission to disagree. I find the rather gigantic pictures in some signatures make this board harder to read. Between graphics and many text lines in signatures, it takes a lot scrolling to find the actual message of the posters. In addition, the habit of some fine officers to *always* quote the entire message of the previous poster (instead of just the relevant lines, if necessary at all), including all graphics and signatures--and sometimes the next poster quotes the quote, etc. ad infinitum--often creates threads where five or six lines of actual message are buried in the equivalent of so many *pages* of scrolling.
In short, I think short signatures, small graphics, and short replies with brief quotes are beautiful. Then of course I *do* love Scotland Forever. [8D]

In fact, what's a pity is that we waste all that space on the left. More modern board software lets users post a picture (an "avatar") in that left column where it doesn't clutter up the message. Oblingly as a rule with limited size. [;)]

Dear General Walter
Your Scots Greys do seem a little small though. Perhaps a reflection of their singular albeit decisive role in the Napoleonic wars.

I personally like fancy graphics it ads to the flavour of the boards for me (I miss those 25mm games) sorry [:D]

However the quoting thing I do avoid.

Helga a round for the General.
