Or another idea ... for general officers, instead of a rank insignia, just post a small portrait of an actual historical general officer. That will communicate the rank quickly and is a nice twist to honour people who have climbed a high rank in the army. [:)]

Sounds like something for a trip to the British museum.[:p]

General Walter after ragging we French for large posts I find that large picture of Wellington both ironic and offensive please take it down promptly. [:)][:I]

It's is way too large for the rather dour English. [:0]

Oh, yeah! People in the land of Kiwis seem really stubborn. At first I thought I understand why All Blacks are so good. Memory of their last humiliation makes me wonder what do people in South Africa drink/eat. Rhino horn?[;)]

Humiliated? never sir! Why wash your mouth out with some vodka.

The All Blacks are sacred ground for kiwi's like a virgin of smolensk or something similar.

We will come back strong rest assured.

Salute!

I can'd find a better word for the helpless and hopeless games I saw in this season in South Africa. [V] It was painful to see the team I love, maybe not as much as a native kiwi, in such a state.

BTW if you are offended enough why don't we have a company level fight from Waterloo?

Helga! Bring us some medovukha! Yes, honey, it's the russian honey brewed beer that leaves you head absolutely clear but prevents your feet from walking.

I seem to recall a couple of times when the colours were a little bedraggled. (Can't recall any similar times for the wallabies, but repetition does tend to blur one's memory.) 1998, Christchurch, various world cup campaigns. But my fondest memory (if memory it is, as I was very drunk on the hill, 1978, when a certain aussie player, whose name escapes me, scored four tries. Paddy Batch, who played wing in that test, is my vet. He recalls (with some gusto) the physical drooping of the All Blacks as they came back to the half way line to kick off after the fourth try, knowing they were going to be roundly abused back home.

Gentlemen my response follows:

1. Colonel Worland 3-0 is all I can say. Hang on actually 4-0 after this weekend.[:)]. You can keep Dingo.

2. Anton
Great to here you are an All Blacks fan. I just project managed allblacks.com/jp to go live so I am not only a fanatical fan it's part of my business so I hate it when we lose. Don't worry though Rugby is alive and well in New Zealand and we have plenty of young players coming through. Virtually enough for two world class teams in the near future.

For once I am happy we have lost in the middle of a world cup cycle as it has created a lot of change around coaching and the team over here. Gives us a better chance at the next world cup although we know how hard they are to win.

The determination to always win every game every year has undermined our tilts at the world cup a bit I think. We have however won it once and the next best by another team is twice so win it next time and we are all square. [:D].

Always bet on Black.
