Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

With the pending release of Les Grognards, I'm wondering about a PBEM challenge board here at NWC but can't find one. There is one at INWC but not here. Pardon the ignorance of a newbie but does one just use the Rhine Tavern here when you call for opponents?

Just go to the link above that says "The Napoleonic Wargame Club Board" and then click on the link that says "The Napoleonic Wargame opponent finder" and you can post a note there about a game.

The good news is that the link you provided works.

The sad news is that the other way - going up to the NW Club Board and looking for the challenge forum (which is what I had been trying) - doesn't. There is no link from there to a challenge forum and, consequently, I was a bit lost.

I'm not sure who to prod about the lack of a link... (you can see that I hope to throw out some challenges in the New Year a La Grognards!)

Harry it's best to add your unit and rank to your signature as well this will help find the right opponent! Eg I can't tell if you are French or Allied or indeed Australian.[:D][:D]

Is this what you see? The opponent's forum is the third one down. The link works and its visible in my browser. What browser are you using? Maybe the view of the forum your browser chose is not showing everything.

Isn't that interesting! No, I don't see that. My view is cut off at the tavern.

I'm using Mozilla Firefox 3.5.5.

I get it when I kick up IE 8.

It's not flash enough a format to need any extra plug ins, surely. Hmmm.

Ok, must be the browser.

I am using Netscape 9 and IE 7 and both work fine.

If you are using a Prussian Army browser dont expect to find it either as we French disconnected them from the internet long ago! [:p]

Scott if you invaded France in 1942 you would have had your own side to deal with. I am sure Guderain vs Kluge would have been good.
