The organizers are now ready to begin accepting ticket purchases for TillerCon III. If you are confident you will be attending the event please go ahead and purchase your tickets in advance. There are a variety of expenses that must be met prior to the event taking place - and since this is completely community supported it is imperative that we get some funding rolling to make things come together.

Has anyone considered what effect the flooding in Nashville might have on TillerCon 3? The city is a disaster.

As of yesterday Rich Walker reported things were ok with him, and no mention of the site being inaccessible. We'll have to monitor things as the time gets closer.

I did pay an extra 19 bucks for a refundable ticket just in case.

But I am thinking that by Memorial Day weekend the city will be functioning enough to where we will be able to use the airport and highway system.

There probably will be signs of the flooding still evident though.

This is always a good time to give blood to the Red Cross ...

"in case you're wondering about our hotel for Tillercon after the flooding around Nashville, I talked to them this morning, and they are fine. No flooding at their location. If anyone is concerned, let them know this is nowhere near the flooded Opryland or Opry Mills shopping center, nor is it close to the other hard-hit areas that are on the news, like Bellevue, Pennington's Bend, etc."
