An eclectic and eccentric rabble of well read, opinionated, multinational enthusiasts. We struggle with interpreting history into a game and enjoy the pursuit of destroying each other over months and years of micromanaging the simulation of battle in an era where men where men even though they dressed better than the women!
You must be either a true believer in 'Code Napoleon' or verhmently opposed. You don't need to speak or write english, french or any other language as long as you can send zip files! Sectarian and nationalistic, partial to a night at the tavern, not careing whether your drinking with a Dandy, a Cossack, a Marmaluke, a Grognard, a Prince or a Marshal (or his horse!). Your credit is good and your bragging is better. You can hold a grudge and be gratuitous in defeat. Thick skinned types last longer and pedants are numerous but interesting [:D] HUZZAH!!

Scott I wrote this quickly it needs to be beaten into shape but this is the kind of thing maybe:

The Napoleonic wargames club was established in 1998. It supports a number of Napoleonic wargames but has a strong interest in HPS's Napoleonic series and the Battle ground series. The club welcomes players from anywhere in the world and offers a fascinating global community of people for you to share your hobby with.

New members join one of the armies from the period organised along historical lines and by playing games earn points towards a gradual promotion through the ranks.

If you have a baton in your knapsack and find the ai offered by the games is no match as an opponent you can test your skills with some of the worlds best Napoleonic players through play by email.

But there is much more to the club than good players it’s also great place to just play for fun with players more concerned about the history and the fascination of the period.

You will find the NWC has diversity both in the globalness of its membership and also in its playing styles and titles supported.

So if you are looking for fun and stiffer competition as well as some banter and not so bitter rivalries the Napoleonic wargames club is a great place to pursue your interest in this most definitive of military era's.

Enrol for training now by going to .......only the best candidates are considered. Well ok all candidates are welcome.

Given some time and feedback on the above I could write a first draft. My real life is in marketing.
