 Post subject: BG Games and SCN file

Anyone recall how to determine what .SCN file is sued in the scenarios in the old BG games?

I tried starting a new game, saving etc and see if the file name is mentioned in the save game file but no luck.

You can just open the PBEMAIL.XXX or .YYY file in an editor, like notepad or wordpad. The scenario is listed near the top.

Actually I need the name of .SCN file

example

the scenario - A Great Day for a Battle.

what is the name of .SCN file being used?

is it JUNE18_A.SCN or JUNE18_B.SCN etc...

Open up the .scn file. The title is on line 2.

I have installed old BG games as well as the Matrix version and I have compiled the list of scenario titles and their respective file names for the new system. Thanks for helping John.
