I was looking for some feedback on the Histwar game - I still have trouble getting the Demo to work - has any one purchased the game? if so what are your thoughts on it ?

I have the game. There are currently 2-3 issues to be fixed (not related with the mechanics but for example artillery behaviour under certain conditions etc.) other than that games (MP & pbem) carry on without any problem.

Thank you - it is quite different from HPS ( and i think I prefer HPS) from what i see so far, but am still interested in trying it out .Thanks again for your feedback

Especially Multiplayer games are so different and exciting. I suggest you enter a club and play with Multiplayer gamers there. (a league and a campaign possible)

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)
