Gentlemen Officers:

Please raise your glasses in a toast for one of the Anglo-Allied's finest! It is my great pleasure to announce that our esteemed commander, Lt. Generaal Bijl, has recently announced the promotion of Captain Chas Dewar to his new rank of Major. I further understand that Major Dewar has been offered the command of our newly raised 9th Brigade. For the continued glory of our mighty army, I certainly hope that he accepts the new command, no matter how strenuously you Frenchmen will try to talk him out of it.

I for one would never dream of talking him out of taking such a command. Brigade commanders are much easier to pick out and pick off on the battlefield than regimental commanders. After you've taken their flag and decimated the ranks, they are damnably hard to find.
