Gentlemen. It is with great honour and pride that I have accepted command of the newly raised 9th British Brigade, It is my intention and desire that the presence of Highlanders on foot will bring a new dimension of the meaning of fear to our French adversaries

But seriously as a Knox it's hard not to cheer the highlanders. They should have told the English to take a hike though!

I always admired the highland regimenst. Best of the allied side as far as I am concerned
