Bounty Raised for Jeff Bardon

This is to post notice for Prussian Offizers & the Club that König Friedrich Wilhelm III has approved the raising of the reward bounty for one said French Maréchal, Maréchal Jeff "Will Never Be Granted a Pardon" Bardon.

The payment for his defeat will now be 175 points, making him the second most wanted Frenchmen now, behind the Notorious Peacock...

Marechal Corbin strolls in to the tavern, just in time to see a Prussian officer finish posting a notice on the wall by the door.

tsk tsk.... The Marechal smiles to himself and chuckles and he saunters over to Marechal Bardon's table.

"The Prussian's seem a trifle erked at you for some reason Monsieur Bardon. Pray tell why?"

Why am I on the list, I ask? What have I done?

Well, OK, Herr General "Backwards", is this 'bounty' available to all armies, or only to the Prussians, who apparently have to receive encouragements to battle their enemies?

Jeff's was raised for a variety of reasons including his status in the French Army. But more importantly after the move he executed in his first turn of our game....

Found a little hole and sent 300 cavaliers past 10,000 infantry to capture a bunch of guns and most of the Prussian II. Armee-Korps Command.

Also mutters from various Prussian officers on how hard he is to beat.

To answer Mark's question, yes it is only for Prussians, for now, because I can control their points in the auto system. I cannot do so for other Coalition officers unless their CiC's agree to participate and doing the awarding for their men....

Oh dear, General Ludwig! I certainly do not like the sound of what you are saying about Marechal Bardon's recent acquistion of the Prussian II Korps Command!! The bounty on his head should have been increased for the mere indignity of it all.

"Perhaps it was something I said," indeed!!!

Oh that.......

I kind of liked it. Nothing stalls a Prussian advance like the loss of a few senior commanders and a few batteries. I thought it would get your attention, but I had no idea that you would flatter me with a gift like this.

I know that Herr Bardon's ego would suffer if I beat him so I let him win at Wavre!

Ok, would you believe that we found a rattlesnake in Herr Thielmann's carriage and bolted for Liege?

Ok, Herr Bardon whupped me good and despite my attempt to take Paris in a bold attack his Frenchies were just able to halt our glorious advance.
