For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

Wow, I have to admit that I have never seen the 1812 debacle for La Grande Armee referred to as a "Retreat" as opposed to a "Defeat". I find myself wondering what all of you fine, Russian officers think about this characterization.............

I also don't think I can come to grips with the battles of 1813 culminating in a "Draw". I find it a bit odd that the Coalition armies could have been invading France in 1814 if the French had fought them to a veritable stalemate in 1813.

Basically, the French caused trouble for a number of years, thier Emperor's insatiable avarice being the direct cause of hundreds of thousands of deaths, before they were decisively and permenantly defeated. In any case, the bottom line remains the same. The French lost.

All you new recruits out there, save yourself some hearthache and..........

Ok Join the British Army and be put in the front lines of India, West Indies, Southeast Asia, oh most I forget USA most I go on to all hirelings of the Shop keepers!

You see, even the fine French Colonel agrees, and I quote, "OK, join the British Army".

It did not take as long to bring the Minions of France to see the light as I had expected it would.

Join the Anglo-Allied Army!

Yes join the allied army France needs more victims!
