Your opinion on cavarly squadron only OOB's.
Like the use of only squadron size units. 27%  27%  [ 8 ]
Don't care whether squadron or regiment size units. 17%  17%  [ 5 ]
Dislike squadron size only OOB's 57%  57%  [ 17 ]

Al hits upon this very well. The engine IS versatile (to a point) and files can be modified (with OBs not locked it also helps). That is how I got into this business. It was a blast changing things a bit. Fire values, morale values, command & leadership values, MP rates and terrain costs, stacking levels. Even the cavalry mod is adjustable so that if you think cavalry takes too many casualties you can adjust that too.

I think that is what keeps me coming back for more designs - the idea that I can put out a custom scenario that allows for something like Bows for Bashkirs or improving the morale for one side in a scenario. Or adding in more troops.

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

... and since any of us can use your maps (per game) to make sub-maps we can come up with a mutlitude of what-if scenarios!
