Bill,

I read the Withdrawal Dialog in the rules, but am confused.

Do the units just dissapear or does the player have to move them to remove them, and if he doesn't what's the penalty?

They are removed automatically from the map by the program once the percentage is rolled. The player does nothing.

I used this option for the Saxons on the 18th of October, 2nd day of Leipzig. I also used it for Normann's Wurttemberg cavalry too ...

In the large Leipzig campaign there are large Op. Leipzig situations where if Napoleon has pulled out of Dresden that the other German groups may defect as well. They would see it as him giving up on Saxony and read it that they are next. The additional troops (I & XIV Corps) are handy though and the loss of a few thousand cavalry that go away are more than made up for with the addition of many thousands of French soldiers.

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

Can you imagine a tournament game where on turn 3 all your troops just disappear! hehehe...
