My sincere thanks to every member of this club for putting up with me for yet another year. April 15th, 2012 marks the two year anniversary of my first commission in the NWC as a Hanoverian Field Jager (hence my Jagermeister tradition in this beloved tavern for those of you newer officers). A year ago this time, I would never have believed I would be serving as the Club's President as well. That thought had never even crossed my mind.

I offer a sincere and heartfelt toast to all of you fine gentlemen. I love this club, and every single officer in it. To the NWC, to gentlemen officers, and to the very many fine friends I have made thus far along this two year journey!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! {Salute}

Colonel (President) Jones,
This Lieutenant of Tirailleurs expresses his thanks and congratulations to you, sir, on your work as president, helping new officers such as myself to better understand how the club works.
And as an opponent on the battle maps of the utmost honor & fierceness.
And, last but not least, as a valued conversationalist regarding all things Napoleonic warfare.
Salute!

"Why, General Guegan, what else would we be drinking?"

"Shot glasses all around with Jagermeister to the rims, Helga! Yes my good friends", grins the Hanoverian officer, "this is going to hurt! I have been building my immunity for two years now, and it still burns every time."

"And a lemonade for the good General Peters. Not too much sugar mind you. Tart, just the way Thomas Jonathan Jackson likes it! Who is TJJ you ask? Well that, my friends, is another story entirely."

I don't mind toasting with you but, let me substitute that thing with something more appropriate... Armagnac! 8)

And so did my former "Team" members at my last job in California. I changed jobs and some of them bet I wouldn't last. I walked out of the company on my own time after 17+ years put in. I love to see folks lose money over someone who tries hard.
