 Post subject: An old Warhorse returns

Late Saturday night in the Tavern.

Officers of all armies are talking and laughing and enjoying each other's company.

At Marechal Bardon's table, a group of french officers are in deep wispered discussion about some rumour that is making the rounds of he LGA.

"An officer at headquarters told a friend of mine that it should happen today." Says one excited young lieutenant.

"Bah" says an older looking colonel, clearly deep in his cups. "There is a better chance that General Jones will suddenly sprout wings." and he nods back off.

As the Conversation continues, a rider on a magnificent white horse, pulls up to the stables. He dismounts and tosses the stable boy 2 gold coins and instructs the boy to keep he horse away from the allied nags.

He walks up to the tavern door and after some minor adjustments to his uniform, he strolls in.

I have returned to the LGA and will be assuming my old post.

I saw the thread title and stopped by looking for Brigadier Jones but then I realized it said Old Warhorse, not old wh..... oh well, you can fill in the rest. Welcome back John!
