It is a most strange thing...

The Board Administrators had turned off the cloaking device...

Yet now, despite that act lo these many months ago, it is revealed to be on.

Interesting.

I usually sign in this way. Nothing skulduggery about it I just prefer to be off the radar especially given the argumentative nature of the NWC now days.
I don't really think its a big deal either way.

Dear Colin,

If the atmosphere is argumentative and destructive - it is the work a few in the minority that keep pounding away at anyone you is elected that does not espouse their same trane of thought - could also be a clue as to why so many in leadership have left - I can fully understand Todd being skeptical about this point - I would as well when the option was supposedly closed off

No worries Roy I won't enter this fray and debate about club politics just my opinion on the login issue.
I am not worried either way as its a minor issue for me. You guys are in the hot seats so I will respect whatever you decide.

I turned off hidden in permissions. They should not appear. I did this awhile back as a request from Mark. Probably the recent problems with doing an update may have changed it. For the general club information I am not the only one with admin capabilities to make these kind of permission changes. I gave admin permissions to Mark that I trusted and was helping with forum. I believe I will restrict the global admin to myself with limited admin capabilities to others.

Too many cooks spoil the broth.

Todd and Roy were set to Admin levels that are above to what they need without my knowledge. I would guess that the previous admin Mark set them up.

I have downgraded Todd and Roy to Forum and Group admin. They were set to a level which gave them access to system processes and servers that are not required to maintain the club Forums. They are not familiar with the PHP forum system and should not have access. Any issues outside of their admin levels can be sent to me and I will help as much as I can.
