Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

The owner of the house where I live contacted me about having to do demo work to the back part of the house to satisfy the courts concerning his building and safety issues. The gist of it is: I have to move.

By the end of the month I will have everything back in storage or I will be in a new room. It may be that I will not be able to have internet. I am not sure at this point.

Be aware that game turns after February may be slow.

At this point I could leave LA and settle somewhere else. I am going to be looking online at possible opportunities in other towns.

The main thing is: I will not be living at this house after February (or very early March). He is giving me up to March 10th but I would like to be out of here and on my way.

So another exciting chapter dawns in my life. As usual I am trusting in God to provide. I know that He will not let me down.

Thanks for all of your past help. It has helped sustain me here and I know that Marengo would not have been finished without all of your generous contributions.

I will continue my games until such time as I need to dismantle my PC. Until then continue to look for games turns!

An option for me to (temporarily) move to Imperial Beach, CA and move in with my great aunt and her son and grandson exists. They have a garage that has power. I am going to take a look at it by the end of the month. The grandson stayed in the garage when his family stayed there.

Just a question of seeing if this will work.

The move is definitely on for March 1st. I will have internet in my new home. I just need to get an adaptor for WiFi for my computer.

I should be fully functional and online no later than March 3rd. Will keep you folks posted on how it all goes.

Rent is cheaper to begin with. This is good. I will be renting space in a garage. Its a tad cold out there but I have plenty of blankets and my 5F degree sleeping bag works too.

The HQ will shut down on Tuesday Feb 28th so no turns after that until I set up shop and am back online.
