Napoleonic Wargame Club (NWC)

It was way back in the late 1990s that a few of us proposed to Pierre and Steve that we take the club concept of the ACWGC and port it over to have a club for the Napoleonics series by Talonsoft. I remember it like it was yesterday.

So a Big Thanks is in order to all that are still making sure that the NWC is still up and running. Having started up a similar club (for the Musket and Pike series) I know how hard it is to keep all of the pages up to date and create a fun environment.

I hope that the club can enjoy many more years of gaming fun for the members and that we can continue to see new members step up to help out. It doesn't happen by accident. People are putting in their own personal time to help keep it all going.

So thanks, NWC staff and to all of the members for your help and participation. Its highly rewarding for me, personally, to see it still flying high!

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

I'd like to echo that Bill. I really appreciate all of the effort that goes into keeping the club up and running. As one who had a long sabbatical from gaming it was fantastic to be able to slot back into the club and pick up with old friends and make some new quickly and easily.

I would also like to add my thanks to everyone involved with organising this club.

Having been involved in running various volunteer organisations, I know how much work and dedication is required to keep it going year after year.

Until joining this club 18 months ago, I hadn't played against a human opponent since my local wargaming club folded in the early 90's.

To be able to once again be part of a community that shares a similar passion to myself is awesome.

Thank you all this is very kind! I'm appreciative of all the great folks who helped make the Club happen! I'm just one of the current people helping to keep going what was started by the others.

The staff is very thankful for the time everyone spends with the club! It's been nice to have a lot of the new members involved in the forums and I've especially enjoyed the posts in the history section.

I'd like to thank Mike again for his help with training in the Coalition side as well as Sergio's help in being the LGA's webmaster. Glad you were able to find us Dean and are enjoying having folks to play with again! Enjoyed seeing your many victories registered so far.

Thanks to all our great members both veterans & new alike!
