Le Grand Quartier-Général Impériale has confirmed that Général Mark Oakford's efforts on the field of honour and his service in command of the Reserve Cavalry has been recognised.
It gives me great pleasure to announce on behalf of Général Hecht that with immediate effect, Général Oakford has been promoted to the exalted rank of Maréchal d'Empire.
Before continuing, I think it is only right to reflect on the military history of our new Maréchal d'Empire.
