Nicely done Sir! Too bad you couldn't have found a painting where one of my Scots lads were running them off with a nice salad fork.

My dear Field Marshall, it is far too gruesome a sight for a public forum such as this to actually display the carnage that ensues once your fine Scottish lads close to melee with their weapon of choice. Respectful of the international codes of conduct that govern such matters, I regret that I can only graphically depict the beginning of your fine charge. I am sure this will prove unnerving enough for the French adversaries that have contested your irrepressible rise to fame in our mighty Anglo-Allied Army.

When the people of France over through their corrupt king and his cronies the English King and Prime Minister declared war on the French people! And the rest of the European titled privileged class all joined in! And Napoleon was supported by his people for most of his reign, while he was no saint to say the least. Your insults to the Napoleon fall short of the truth.

The Soldiers of France shall Battle On,

The British/Scots have always been zealots for French gastronome, just look at the Napolean, an airy mille fluete pastry with delicate cream, topped with a chevron glace just sounds divine, and with a cappucinno heavenly. The counter Beef Wellington, a heavy dish ensconced in bread to hide the poor quality of beef sometimes with a duxelle to improve the flavor. Earthy, heavy, not light and delicate. Something you would drink with a Malbec, rather than a cognac with a fine pastry.

Some other examples for fine British cusine, Kidney Pie, Bangers and Mash, and my all time favorite mutton. No wonder so much malt vinegar and chutney was added to improve the flavor, and if they could get it Grey Poupon

Colonel Ozols,
I salute your savvy description of the Anglophile's diet. If I'm not mistaken, there was no mention of a salad fork anywhere. No matter, it was probably purloined ages ago by a blue painted pict , from a civilized manor, and then passed down through the generations, from master of heath, to laird of the moors, til it ended up as the heirloom of the good Field Marshall.
And oh yes, do you have any grey poupon?
Regards,

Oh, you funny Frenchmen, always with the jokes! Your discussion of English cuisine is really most amusing. Ah, but I do fear that, similar to the pattern by which you blithely follow any murderous upstart that would seize a throne through the bloodshed of the legitimate rulers of France, you remain fickle and easily distracted from the true point of any matter. You see my dear misguided adversaries, it is not the normal lunch of the Anglo-Allied Army that these brave Scots are going to eat today...

Now that's more like it. No need for a proper Scotsman to be carrying a heavy musket when they can usually run off those garlic eating buggers with a well done eating utensil!
