Jean-Denis,

The original Talonsoft BG games will NOT run under Vista[8]. If you want to play them under Vista, you'll have to buy the re-issued versions published by Matrix games.

The HPS games will run, but you have to apply the patches/work arounds listed on the HPS website.

Hi Paco, [:D]

Well they do work until I apply the 32-bit engine patch and then show the black map.. [:(!]
I recall the problem of the black map, which existed before Vista, as being solved thanks to a mod to do to one of the Main files, or maybe to a folder location.. cant recall... it's been a while!

The old Talonsoft Battleground games are not compatible with Vista once the 32 bit patches are applied. However, Matrix recently re-released the games and those editions are compatible. All the Napoleonic titles are sold together for about 29.99 US. They might be available for download at an even lower price.
