This feature (along with several other interesting features) is present in Age of Rifles (1996), if you don't mind the very dated graphics and attempting to run the game in DOSBox. It's actually still a playable game, despite its various drawbacks.

There are quite a large number of custom-made Napoleonic scenarios for Age of Rifles available at the Yahoo group site:

http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/age_of_rifles/

so I suppose if there were enough NWC club interest the game might potentially be added.

Age of Rifles was discussed some time back. If you think its a good addition to the club just submit a request to add to the Cabinet. Its turn based and perhaps we could add in some new members as a result.

A good idea, Bill, especially since Age of Rifles has various scenarios that haven't yet been covered by HPS titles.

NB: While Age of Rifles has some interesting features, it does have a number of drawbacks too. For one thing, it would need DOSBox to run, and it's probably a good idea to take your glasses off to play, so that the graphics don't look so bad! The maps are small too - I don't think they can be larger than 50 x 50 hexes!
