“Make mine the real stuff this time, Helga”, says the Hanoverian Brigadier, “that dang water will kill ya! My first match with General Knox was really more of a continuation of the training method of my venerable mentor, Generaal Moss, who firmly believed that which did not kill you, only served to make you stronger. If it did happen to kill you, well let’s just say you got weeded out a little early.”

“I readily admit that my first battle against General Knox served to greatly improve my conduct upon the field of battle. I came to personally understand why he was selected to lead the cavalry contingent of Bonaparte’s personal bodyguard. General Knox is, without any doubt, one of the finest and most honorable officers serving in La Grande Armee today. I hold his commanding officer, Marechal Bardon, in the very highest regard as well.”

“A toast to all honorable warriors, regardless as to the armies in which they serve!” The Hanoverian warily eyes the liquid in the shot glass that Helga placed before him. Satisfied that it is indeed the genuine article this time, he downs the liquid in one gulp, and is rendered momentarily speechless by the familiar paralyzation of his vocal chords.

Why my dear Colonel, I do recall that even though you took my sword in Scenario 086, my Russians and Cossacks managed to take 27 of your guns. :lol: Of course, I'm always willing to refight that battle and switch sides. :wink: Just think of what I could do with 15 units of Cuirassier and twice the number of troops. :shock: The Science Fiction is true and it may very well keep my opponent from victory. I imagine there is a discussion going on about the battle over at Pierre's.

Name and shame sir, name and shame! The outback down under I assume refers to our antipodean colonial cousins, who are not English and certainly not gentlemen.

Hic!

I have to admit that I am not certain who it is that you are trying to call out, Colonel Dumas. I believe that Generaal Moss is correct when he advises that you simply state the names of the officer(s) in question and list the perceived offense(s). It is probably the quickest way to resolve this matter. :wink: :wink: :wink:

General Knox, if I understand you correctly, you are saying that Vieille Gardesmen are not gentlemen, and the Empire of France currently holds the World Rugby Cup??? :shock: :shock: :shock:

After all, your experience never goes beyond 1809, unless of course we are role playing again. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Colonel Dumas, sir;

What a dramatic rendering of Le Tondu's favored arm.

Regards,

Indeed Brigadier Jones this post is from the kiwi Colin Knox home of the rugby world cup. In fact we defeated France in the final!!
Those other posts circa 1809 are from that poser General Knox renowned leader of the Emperor's body guard. The guy with the best uniform and horse in the whole tavern I understand,

I must admit the split personality can be a little confusing at times.
Hmm who am I now.... ah yes...

Right now where is that General Peters...
