The bloody courier barely manages to escape his doomed comrades at Utitza to deliver:
Marechal Jhonson has briefly planted the french flag at Utitza after a massive cavalry charge comprised of Elite Polish, Heavy and Guard Cavalry Units- The Russian defenses were broken and all the guns defending Utitza overrun.
The three Flechés & the Great redoubt remain firmly in Russian command- The French have been pushed back and almost out of the Semenovsky forest, saving the Great Redoubt from attack after bloody forest fighting.
The French Army Corps north of Borodino (Italian) have been severely defeated after a mighty counter-attack from the mewly arrived Russian 1st Corps reinforced by two Infantry Divisions and the complete Cossack Corps.
The French Old and Middle Guard seems to be massing near the Flechés for an inminent attack- Wich shall be meet by the russian heavy guns- Reserve Grenadier Division and Imperial Guardsmen.
* It should be noted that Marechal Jhonson has expertly achieved to keep almost his complete cavalry force intact (he had heavy looses at the attack on Utitza) and no doubt expects to unsleash them en masse at the zenith of the fight
The turn now is the 27th of 52 and here are each sides loses:
French Infantry- 39250 French Cavalry- 3800 French Guns- 170 French Leaders- 8
Russian Infantry- 31500 Russian Cavalry- 7975 Russian Guns- 172 Russian Leaders- 31
The huge ammount of both sides guns and of Russian leaders lost can attest how ferociosly has every hex been contested.
With 6158 Points so far, the outcome is a French Minor Victory.
Russia shall fight on! HURRRAH
