As for you Mr. Peacock!

You know better be careful, Blucher has enough elephants he's going to run over the French on the battlefield... :D After all they are very intelligent animals....compared to frogs of course.... :P

Having seen some of Blucher's children the Peacock beared his feathers in anger
On sighting the peacock the Prussian Proboschidea performed an oblique manuever in the Frederickian tradition

Notice their careful use of the high ground and forest as cover

Being a country boy, i have a different take on that photo Colin. What i see is the French Peacock strutting around, oblivious to the fact that the Prussian Elephant has brilliantly positioned himself to give the French Peacock a full broadside. Notice how the Prussian Elephants tail appears to be rising. Bad news for the French Peacock, he will be soon be covered in Prussian Elephant dung. Perhaps this photo is just a foreshadowing of what's going to happen in the tournament?...

Hmmmm, being very well acquainted with the habits of animals myself, I must admit that I can certainly envision the reality of David's interpretation of the tactical situation.

I would also say that such a 'dousing' will more than likely only serve to enrage the peacock, much to the ultimate detriment of the offending pachyderms. Don't be fooled by the colorful feathers, gentlemen. That particular peacock is a most deadly opponent.

The upcoming tournament may indeed be a mechanism by which the mighty Prussian Army can shine, leaving all other armies in its shattered wake. Best of luck to you, gentlemen.

Yes that thought did cross my mind

Unfortunately David the Peacock is not playing in the tournament he is however contributing to scenario testing
Therefore I shall ensure all Prussian forces therein used include a unit of Hannibalian Elephants.

Sad to say but most of them do Scott

Also, Blucher didn't really think he was pregnant with an elephant. being pregnant with an elephant was an old german euphemism meaning he is carrying a heavy burden, has big trouble etc. The English took him literally when he said that. So when he said he was pregnant with an elephant and the father was a french soldier, what he meant was he had big problems caused by the french army.
