my advice would be do to a reinstall and apply the 1.03 patch and then you should be ok. hopefully they get this fixed soon. i have installed the 1.04 patch and don't appear to have any problems but that being said i am not engaged in a waterloo game at the moment.

Just had a thought you will need a copy of the old expansion pack to get the hypos correct as I assume you downloaded the new extention pack.
Bit of a cock-up all round but these things happen, remember those highly paid Bankers (you have to have inflated salaries to attract the talent )

Rather than install all of 1.03. I suggest installing 1.04.
Then using the 1.03 patch unzip to a temp file.
Find the file called waterloo_campaign_new pdt
Copy that to your main 1.04 game.
That works for me.

I too am encountering the same problem on Hypo scenarios, no musket fire is allowed, due to weather conditions even though weather is stated as clear. Only artillery fire is avaiable, Mods and terrain features appear to have also changed from what I can tell

My question on that would be why change mods and terrain?

Bon Ju Art just take the whole game off your system and reload the file from Monsieur Moss 1.03 then reload make sure who you playing does the same when game over load the 1.04 but save the 1.03.

Sorry guys, thought this was only for ongoing games, but apparently I missed entering a correct value in the PDT files for the new fire mod feature. Didn't catch it before releasing. ANyway, here's corrected PDT files that work on my system. Please give them a sping and let me know if they work for you:
