"A fair trade, Colonel", said the Coalition Army's Chief of Staff. "I accept your offer to exchange your Commander's standard for my own. Both of our Army Commanders would seemingly be in our debt. However, if I know anything at all about my venerable Commander", he says as he pauses to take another shot of Jagermeister, "I am sure that he will assert that I am actually still in his debt."

"And why is that", responds the good, French Colonel. "No doubt due to his fine training that has allowed you to have survived so long upon the mortally, dangerous fields of honor."

"Well, there is that", replies the Coalition General, "but I think he will say that it is really because he has spared me yet another day from a Coalition firing squad. Did I ever tell you of the time that I set a fellow Guardsman on fire?"
