The NWC has always been an open club where people were free to express their opinions as long as they refrained from profanity and slander. Recently, the Board has moved to block dissenters from access to the NWC forums -- for whatever the reasons (good or bad). I strongly disagree with this policy. It is nothing short of dictatorial control of a what was an open forum -- and the members that have been blocked are folks that have been around this club for a long time. There is no justification for it. I can't abide by this type of heavy hand.

Let the membership express themselves -- as long as they don't cross the line into offensive language or personal slander.

They were not blocked for merely expressing their opinions and there is nothing dictatorial about it.. Please do your due diligence Ken.

Fully agree with you Ed - these individuals were employing very underhanded tatics that to me would be right up their with cheating in games .

We have a great core of players who want to enjoy the reasons why the club was created - Lets stand behind the actions of the cabinet. These individuals put in tremandous volunteer hours so we can enjoy the club. If other volunteers have additonal ideas there will be ample opportunity to step forward and run for the vacant position that will be available- ( French C in C).

Lets start a new era where we can be repectful and diplomatic in our discussions on issues the Cabinet put forth- I am sure everyone of them would welcome an attitude of constructivley challenging the status quo to come up with the very best ideas.
