3rd Place - Minor Victory, 1 VP, +1 OBD
4th Place - Draw, 0 VP, 0 OBD
5th Place - Draw, 0 VP, 0 OBD
6th Place - Minor Defeat, 0 VP, -1 OBD
7th Place - Minor Defeat, 0 VP, -1 OBD
8th Place - Major Defeat, 0 VP, -3 OBD

This seems consistent with our HPS scoring. Three winners, three losers and two that were just glad to be there.

Base OBD points determined by actual number of turns played.

Bear in mind that I have never played this game and probably don't know what I am talking about. Looking at a promo on line, it reminded me of Empires in Arms which I have played (boardgame version) several times in a past life.

Looks good to me Mark. I like the idea of only one Major Victory/Defeat.

For Club Games: I prefer the Single Phase mode of play. I prefer to play with the following options OFF:

MDF, VP4LC, NRO, MTD, CMR, PR, MIM, NDM, OMR (ver 4.07)

Yeah that's fine and then add in the turns they play......done deal.

I personally don't mind points being added for game length. There's something to be said about encouraging people not to give up when a long game is involved. Especially one such as Crown of Glory where a 23 year campaign game can easily run for over a year! I would hope most players would'nt stall a game just to obtain a few more points!

Plus, after all, General Mack certainly did'nt become a general due to his tactical/strategic abilities did he?!
