The skimming continues from one end of the campaign front to the other! French scouts report sighting numerous Prussian forces in the vicinity of Rosdsome and Plancenoit
It is early afternoon and still many are wondering if a battle will be fought this day or another. We have hunted down many of the Prussian forward scouts …
Our Scouts on the heights above Mont St Guibert are very bon to dispatch messages to Imperial HQ concerning Prussian movements.

ImageWhile at Headquarters after I turned my command over to LtGeneral Roeder, I started reading the Army dispatches and one of the dispatches caught my eye how our Kavalerie arm on the eastern front have been chasing the French III Corps Super Heavy CavalerieImage around trying to corner them.Image
That made my day after reporting that I have lost about 2000 troopers. Image
I also learned that an old friend of mind was killed in a skirmish with the French Lancers Kavalerie Major Zepelin.Image

Image1630 Our lancers attack the withdrawing Prussian Kavalerie south of Neuvecourt, and at Maision du Roi, more and more troops arrive on the skirmish line.
ImageCol Roge of the carabineers, I was caught between a hard place and a rock somewhere Northeast of Corbaix, the Prussian Kavalerie were closing in on my regiment from all sides, I tried to hide from them when a Lancer unit attacks us.
In the attack my unit was disordered trying to get the unit back to good order was not hard for an Elite unit like ours. Image
We rode north to avoid the pursuit of the Prussian, hoping that the rest of the Division would catch the Prussian in the rear of us. Image

ImageLt. General Roeder
While I was at HQ the forward one that is I had to read the Battle reports and report to the Chief of staff on the conduct of the battle in my sector of the engagement. I reported in writing that Lt. General Roeder Kavalerie arm has withdrawn from the many Kavalerie skirmishes feeling that he was out numbered by the French who had maybe three Div of Kavalerie vs his one.
ImageGeneral Major Hobe still holds the road to Neuvecourt with his 3rd Rank Light infantry.
ImageGeneral Major of Kavalerie Sydow
The battle report also stated that 400 troopers of the French Super Heavy Cavalerie the carbineers of the IV Cav Corps are being hunted down by our Kavalerie and their destruction will be within the coming hours and other smaller units were also sighted .
Maybe 1000 mounted Chasseurs also are being watch south of Maransart.
Another 1000 or so Imperial Guard Mounted Cavalerie are attacking north of Malplaquee.
